This optometry practice (opticians) provides free routine and emergency NHS eye examinations. If you have an eye problem, you should always contact an optometry practice first. Further information on free NHS-funded eye examinations can be found on the NHS community eyecare page.

Halcyon Vision Ltd is a domiciliary opticians. They can provide NHS funded eye tests at home if you are unable to make it to the shops for an eye examination due to a physical or mental health condition. They do not have a store you can attend but they can come to you.

You’re eligible to a free NHS eye examination Home Visit Service if you can’t leave home unaccompanied due to a physical or mental illness or disability. A practice identified as providing a Home Visit Service does not guarantee that they will do so at all locations within your Health Board or Local Authority area.
