Central and Eastern European Communities Advice and Information Service
WSREC's Central and Eastern European Communities Advice and Information Service provides support to migrants in the West of Scotland who face barriers, such as lack of access to IT equipment, non-fluent English skills, as well as mental and physical health barriers to accessing services.
Staff speak community languages, which is key in helping to ensure that everyone has the opportunity and tools to access the resources they need. The service’s primary focus is on providing information and advice on:
benefits, including pension entitlements
housing
employment
understanding energy bills
voting
navigating life in Scotland
