Dundee ASSIST

We support clients whose partners, or ex-partners are going through the court process.

A - Advocacy: Independent voice for victims, including children and young people

S - Support: In the immediate aftermath of an incident and throughout the court process

S - Safety: Continuous risk assessment and safety planning

I - Information: About the court process, civil protection, housing, domestic abuse issues and ongoing support services

ST - Services Together: Coordinated, strategic, and operational community response

We prioritise risk assessment and safety planning to ensure clients views are at the centre of all the processes going on around them. We feed information into the courts and provide updates of court proceedings to clients. We also have a children and young persons service who support young victims going through the court process either as witnesses or as victims of abuse.

Referrals will be accepted from any agency and victims of domestic abuse may also self-refer.
