Families in Crisis

We recognise the pressures that living with Cystic Fibrosis can bring, so we offer assistance to support families facing financial struggles as a direct result of caring for a family member with CF.

Our Families in Crisis service can provide help for people who need money quickly because of an unexpected situation:

Financial assistance is available for costs related to travel/accommodation in respect of getting to hospital appointments outwith regular appointments.
We can also help with financial pressures for families when a young person must spend frequent prolonged periods in hospital. 
This service is available to those in emergency situations where there has been a breakdown of relationships in your family and you have nowhere to stay.
Other circumstances are also considered.

Application forms for this service are available from your CF Nurse Specialist who will be happy to help you complete the form and return it to us so that we can make sure you get the help you need.
