The Elms

The Elms is a care home offering residential care for older people with dementia in a safe, homely environment.

The Elms is a large Victorian mansion set in its own extensive grounds. It is situated in the Grange area of Edinburgh. This is home to our specialist service to people with dementia who can no longer live safely on their own or in another residential setting.

Our knowledgable and caring staff great take care to promote every resident’s wellbeing, respecting their dignity, choice and rights at all times.

On admission to The Elms, residents are appointed a Key Worker who will work closely with all relevant parties to create a bespoke and suitable care plan. This will be monitored and regularly updated to ensure we deliver the best possible care and outcomes.

We organise regular activities at The Elms. They include music and movement, quizzes, bowling outings and many more.
