Milan SWO

Milan is a charitable organisation delivering essential services to South Asian communities across Edinburgh and the Lothians. We provide culturally sensitive, person-centred support in community languages, in a safe and welcoming environment.

We deliver:

• 2 days per week, day-care provision: Older people can enjoy a hot meal and take part in activities.

• Outreach: Supporting isolated or housebound individuals through home visits and visiting those who are hospitalised.

• Information/advice: A confidential service promoting income maximisation

• Unpaid carers support: Providing carers with a quality break from pressurising caring roles.

• Support groups: Community-based groups delivered across different local areas to promote health, wellbeing, peer support, and social connection.
