Alcohol Brief Interventions

GCA’s ABI team has been delivering Alcohol Brief Interventions in Glasgow for 9 years. They have delivered screenings and ABIs in various settings such as pharmacies, health centres, job centres, colleges, supermarkets, and community events.

ABIs are evidence-based and proven to be effective in reducing alcohol consumption. For every eight people who receive an ABI, one reduces their alcohol consumption to safer levels.
