Reablement

Reablement is a team within the Glasgow HSCP Care at Home service that provides tailored support to you in your own home for up to six weeks. It builds confidence by helping you to regain your skills to do what you can and want to do for yourself at home.

Reablement Home care is provided to most people who are referred for home care support, including those referred following a hospital stay, to ensure early support provided is tailored to individual need and builds independence where possible. Reablement Home care will also be considered for mainstream home care service users when individual needs are reviewed and there is potential to build confidence and independence.
