Adult Learning and Literacies - Inclusive Communities

We provide the following range of free informal classes across Inverclyde. At each class, learners can gain an SQA or equivalent qualification. Classes are largely run during the day Monday to Friday, however we do have some evening and weekend classes. We now also have an online learning platform and some courses are offered via this platform.

Inclusive Communities Adult Learning Services provide a range of services including:

Digital Skills Courses - Gain an SQA qualification at level 4 or 5 whilst learning about computer basics, internet and E-mail as well as Microsoft Office.

Work Club - Gain digital support to create a cv, search for work and apply for vacancies.

Inverclyde Adult Literacies – support with reading, writing and numbers, financial literacy and budgeting support.
Multiply - support with every day numbers, budgeting and managing your money.

ESOL provision - support for those New To Scotland to learn English via Intensive or weekly English classes

Community Work – supporting communities to organise and respond to needs and interests of, for example Community Councils, tenants and residents groups.

Community Cooking classes - practical 6 week courses which support cooking healthily on a budget

Invergrow- Support with food growing activities across Inverclyde

Gaelic A1 - Learn Gaelic at our free Gaelic beginners class
