The White House

The White House is Free Wheel North’s second centre and Maryhill’s oldest building, situated on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal. Since acquiring the lease in 2014, Free Wheel North has been developing the White House as a vibrant community hub and bike shop (G2 Cycles). We host regular community bike rides, community dinners, talks, and workshops that bring people together and support the regeneration of Maryhill.

Looking ahead, The White House will grow into a centre for social justice and public space — a base for campaigning toward an active Glasgow where everyone has the freedom to walk, wheel, or cycle safely and equally.
