Harm Reduction Team

The NHS Lothian Harm Reduction Team offers specialist health services in a discreet, friendly setting. The team can be accessed in the following ways:

Drop-in during The Exchange opening hours for injecting equipment provision (needle exchange), dry blood spot testing for blood borne viruses or Naloxone supply

Those using steroids and other image and performance and enhancing drugs can use The Exchange for injecting equipment; however, there is a specialist Steroid Clinic open every Monday (except Monday holidays) between 5pm-7pm

Women’s Clinic: Drop-in Thursdays 2.30pm–7pm (closed 4.30pm – 5pm)

Wound Clinic: Drop-in Thursdays 10.30am-1.30pm

Dental services: Drop-in – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 12.30pm to 4pm (Names will be added to drop-in 12pm onwards and it is advised you attend as close to 12pm as possible if you want to be seen that day) – Appointments for the Dental service are only given after attending the Drop-in.
