Shetland Women's Aid

We are the lead organisation working towards the prevention of domestic abuse in Shetland. We offer advice, counselling, and both practical and emotional support to women, young people, and children of all genders affected by domestic abuse in our community. We provide temporary accommodation for women and their families fleeing from abuse, and can support women seeking to leave Shetland. We also educate people in schools, organisations, and the wider community about domestic abuse, including topics such as coercive control and healthy relationships.
