Volunteering with North Glasgow Community Food Initiative (NGCFI)

North Glasgow Community Food Initiative (NGCFI) work with communities to empower them to lead practical and sustainable food related activities that improve health and wellbeing and which support them to build stronger, more cohesive communities.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do and are involved in shaping, influencing and leading all aspects of our organisation. We value the unique contribution of every volunteer.

We are always looking for new volunteers and offer a range of opportunities such as:

Garden Volunteers
Cookery Volunteers
Cookery Course Support
Community Meals and Café Volunteers
Community Fridge and Pantry Volunteers
Driver Volunteers

We are committed to give volunteers all the support they need to achieve their goals so whether you want to learn new skills, develop old ones, share a passion or meet like-minded people in the community; we believe we have an opportunity for you!
