Make-A-Wish UK (Apply for a Wish)

Critical illness brings a child’s joy to an abrupt end but Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that grants life-changing wishes that have the power to turn tears into cheers, rescuing the magic of childhood even in their toughest times and providing a lifeline for families to spend precious time together.

Together, we create joy, happiness and magical memories through life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Wish children can be referred via their health, social care, or educational teams.

If a child’s prognosis is less than 12 months, then a referral can be submitted via our online application form.

As part of our commitment to continually improve and enhance our wish-granting capabilities, we are now also accepting referrals through our Community Referral Partners.

A child must meet certain criteria in order to receive a wish from Make-A-Wish UK. Please see our website for more information on referral processes and eligibility criteria.
