By Your Side Scotland

Contact are a UK charity for families with disabled children – supporting families, bringing families together and helping families take action for others. Our vision is that families with disabled children feel valued and are strong, confident and able to make the decisions that are right for them.

Our By Your Side service provides support to families of disabled and additional needs children – with or without a diagnosis – who are attending an appointment or staying in hospital. Contact Scotland have monthly stands at the Queen Elizabeth University hospital in Glasgow and Wishaw General in Lanarkshire, where our friendly Parent Adviser provides a face-to-face drop-in service.
