The Young People’s Sensory Service (YPSS)

Supporting children and young people with a sensory loss to build confidence, self-esteem and life skills. We run a programme of activities mostly during the school holidays, providing opportunities to children with sight and/or hearing loss to challenge themselves, meet friends and form natural peer support networks, while having fun. Parents and siblings get a chance to meet, share their experiences and support each other. We run a baby group for children with sensory loss age 0-4 years along with Sensory Education services. We run Youth Groups for children ages 12+ which focuses on developing independent living skills while having fun in a supportive environment.
