The Highland Council Homelessness Team

We can help if you have nowhere to stay or if you might lose your home.

If you have nowhere to stay

This includes if:

you are staying somewhere temporary
you are in accommodation that is not reasonable for you to live in
you are about to leave prison, the armed forces or hospital and have nowhere suitable to go

Contact us as soon as possible. We will assess your situation and give you emergency accommodation if you need it and then help you to find a longer-term home.

If you think you might lose your home

This includes if:

your landlord is unhappy about rent arrears
you have received a notice to leave
you are struggling to pay your mortgage
you need help with money or benefits
you are worried about losing your home for any reason

Contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to help you stay in your home or find other options.
