The Lunch Club - Ripple Project

The Ripple Lunch Club runs Monday to Friday in the Restalrig Lochend Community Hub, for local people 65+.

A fresh cooked hot meal is prepared in the Hub café kitchen, providing nutritious tasty food at a fair price.

The Club runs Monday – Friday 11.30am to 12.30pm, and for many, attendance at the Club provides a focus for their day and an opportunity to get out the house to have a hot meal while enjoying the company of others.

All sitting together, and with regular volunteers serving meals, the club has a warm and supportive atmosphere as well as being in the heart of the Hub, in the café.

Meals cost £4.50 per day for a two course meal with tea/coffee and biscuits.

We ask that meals are pre-booked and, where possible, paid in advance however we can be flexible. Transport is available for people living in Restalrig, Lochend and Craigentinny for a small contribution of 50p per day.

Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
