East Ayrshire Carers Centre
A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, frailty, disability, mental health issues or addiction cannot cope without their support.
We operate across East Ayrshire, supporting Young Carers (5-25 yrs) & Adult Carers Service (25+).
We help carers understand their rights under the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016, such as the right to an Adult Carers Support Plan or Young Carers Statement to plan the outcomes they need to live a life alongside their caring role.
