MRO Woodwork

The MRO Woodwork Project in March Lane, Buckie, offers a friendly, supportive workshop where adults with learning disabilities can learn practical woodworking skills and build confidence. Trainees take part in every stage of creating handcrafted wooden items, including measuring, cutting, assembling, sanding, painting and finishing. They work with hand tools and machinery at a pace that suits them, supported by skilled staff and volunteers. All timber is sustainably sourced from trusted local suppliers. The workshop provides structure, teamwork, problem-solving, and real-world experience, helping individuals grow their independence and self-esteem.

Availability: Monday to Friday, 9.30am–3.30pm

Requirements: Willingness to learn, ability to work safely with guidance, and suitable clothing for workshop activities.
