Stirling Reablement Services

Reablement services are for people with poor physical or mental health to help them accommodate their illness, by learning or re-learning the skills necessary for daily living. The overall aim is to help any adult enjoy living safely and independently in their own homes or a homely setting within their own community for as long as possible and safe to do so.

Services Offered

Older Adults

The service works with people to assess their needs over a period of up to 6 weeks. A reablement support worker can assist and work with you with a wide variety of daily living tasks, including personal care and tasks such as dressing, washing, getting to the toilet, preparing meals and supervising medication. As the reablement service is a short term only service, if ongoing care is required at the end of the reablement period the service will arrange this with a home care provider.
