Hebrides Alpha Project

The Hebrides Alpha Project is a supported accommodation unit providing a safe and comfortable environment across three houses for individuals with alcohol or drug dependency issues for a 6-12 month period. Two houses are for residential purposes accommodating six persons.

Every resident has their own bedroom and bathroom, each house shares a lounge and kitchen.

The project offers:

  • A Christian ethos
  • a 12-step programme
  • motivational interviewing and CBT based self-help approach
  • therapeutic employment to be encouraged if individual is physically fit
  • group or one-to-one counselling programme
  • rural setting with high supervision during month one
  • supported housing service with a recovery programme included
  • use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approaches.
