Stepping Stones for Families (Carrick Money Advice Service)

Free, impartial and confidential, advice on a range of money related matters covering North and South Carrick in South Ayrshire.

This service is for people of any age with dependent children, and for individuals and couples (with no dependent children) up to the age of 24.

We cover all aspects of money management: Benefits entitlement, debt advice, financial awareness, fuel efficiency. We help to income maximise, to check benefit entitlement, to fill in forms, with affordable credit, with fuel tariffs and with fuel efficiency. We provide 1:1 support to the most vulnerable families.

We provide intensive family tailored support to families and children.

We provide groups for parents/carers including Coffee and Chat Groups, Cookery Groups and Wellness Sessions

Working in partnership with local organisations both voluntary and statutory ensures that this service meets the needs of the people who live in the Carrick areas.
