Scottish Welfare Fund (South Lanarkshire)

The Scottish Welfare Fund is a discretionary scheme we deliver that provides two types of grant: Community Care Grants and Crisis Grants. If you are in crisis you can apply for a grant by calling the Scottish Welfare Fund Team.

  • Crisis Grants can provide people with a safety net in the event of a disaster or emergency such as fire or flood or being robbed

  • Community care grants can help people leaving care or families facing exceptional pressures who are in need of essential household items such as a cooker or washing machine.
