If you or someone you care about has been diagnosed with cancer, we're here to help. Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries offer a free and confidential service, providing emotional, practical and financial support to anyone who is affected by cancer. So whatever cancer throws your way, we're here for you.

Cancer support and information is provided at drop in services in Glasgow Libraries across the city. We are here for anyone affected by cancer including people living with or beyond cancer, family, friends or carers, and people who are bereaved.

You can find free, expert and easy to understand information on cancer in all Glasgow Libraries. We cover a wide range of topics for people with cancer, their loved ones and carers.

General Cancer Support
Leukaemia

Our team of Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Volunteers offer a wide-ranging service which includes:
• Regular or one-off emotional, practical and financial support
• A listening ear and someone to talk to about how you are feeling
• Free information about cancer including diagnosis, treatments and drugs and how to cope with the different ways cancer may impact your life
• Appointments with Improving the Cancer Journey
• Help to access a wide range of local services such as, carers support, physical activity, help to quit smoking, bereavement support and more.

Pollok Library every Monday 1pm - 3pm
Mitchell Library every Tuesday 11am-1pm
Royston Library every Tuesday 2pm - 4pm
Partick Library every Wednesday 11am - 1pm
Dennistoun Library every Thursday 1pm - 3pm
Castlemilk Library every Thursday 11am - 1pm
