Inverclyde Primary Care Mental Health Team

This is a non-urgent, nurse led service aimed at supporting people with depression, anxiety and adjustment issues.

If your difficulties are of an urgent nature please contact your GP or NHS24 on 111.

We offer mental health care to individuals experiencing common mental health problems.

We provide evidence based brief psychological therapy, usually delivered over 6-8 appointments, each lasting approximately 45 mins. These will be provided by a mental health practitioner in one of your local health centres or via telephone/video call where appropriate. This facilitates/supports self-help strategies to assist you in the management of common mental health problems.

We work in partnership with you and your GP. We provide guidance on and facilitate access to local resources and social supports to promote and support recovery and improvement in people's mental health.
