Inverclyde Alcohol & Drug Recovery Service (IIAS)

Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service is a joint Social Work and Health Addiction team within Inverclyde. If you need help with an alcohol or drug problem you can come to the Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service and we will arrange for you to see the worker that is best placed to meet your needs. For example, an addiction worker or nurse, we may also speak to you about involving Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Psychology.

The service is aimed at adults who reside in Inverclyde who are experiencing alcohol or drug problems and require advice, support or treatment.

We take referrals from all services across the Health and Social Care Partnership, as well as self-referrals, GP, prison and hospital referrals with the condition that the individual has given consent to the referral and lives within the Inverclyde area.

The service works in partnership with 3rd sector services to promote recovery with signposting to appropriate services in line with individual needs.
