Wakefield House Care Home (Cullen)
Built around the mid 19th century and converted into a care home in 1992, Wakefield House offers care for up to 30 residents in single en-suite bedrooms. It includes a large sitting room, dining areas and a conservatory which opens onto a secure garden. Wakefield House is a charming home, located in the heart of the beautiful Moray town of Cullen and is close to local transport links, shops and community services.
Parklands is carrying out a substantial refurbishment of Wakefield House to provide new and enhanced facilities for residents. Major improvements include widening the pathway and entrance to improve access for people with reduced mobility. Existing bay windows at the front of the building will be replaced with a new sunroom extension, creating a larger communal space.
A new hairdresser and an additional en-suite bedroom will also be created on the first floor. A new lift will improve access to bedrooms at the front of the home.
