Our coronavirus app lets you check your symptoms and keep up-to-date with the latest information and guidance

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is the most serious health and medical crisis to appear this century, infecting many thousands of people in Scotland.

Most people suffer minor symptoms requiring basic self-care and some show no symptoms at all. However, coronavirus can lead to serious illness and, sadly, death.

Your health in your hand

NHS 24 has developed the Covid-19 app to put your healthcare in your hand. It links directly to NHS inform, our digital health and wellbeing information resource, to bring you:

NHS 24 coronavirus app home screen
  • the very latest in clear, authoritative and factual clinical guidance on coronavirus
  • instant alerts when key information changes or is updated
  • the steps you should take to minimise the risk of infection
  • an easy-to-use symptom checker
  • advice if you have a potential infection

Easy to use and understand

The NHS 24 Covid-19 app has been developed to be simple and quick to use.

The service is text only and advertising-free, so you get the information fast without clutter or slow-to-load graphics.

Guidance and articles are written in clear, easy-to-understand language and keep medical terms to a minimum.

The app uses very little of your device's memory - less than 9 MB - so you shouldn't run out of space.
